St Pius X Catholic High School

The St. Pius X Lancers cross country team delivered an outstanding performance Thursday at the St. Vincent XC Invitational in Perryville, battling challenging conditions and intense heat. Due to the extreme temperatures, race officials shortened the course to help ensure the safety of all athletes. Despite the abbreviated course and difficult conditions, the Lancers rose to the challenge and delivered an impressive showing. Noah Statzel led the way for the Lancers, finishing 2nd overall and earning a well-deserved podium finish against a strong field of competitors. On the girls' side, Jossalyn Walker made an impressive debut in her first-ever cross country race, racing to a 16th-place finish and earning a medal! Congratulations to Noah, Jossalyn, and the entire St. Pius X Lancers Cross Country team on an outstanding day of racing! Keep up the great work, Lancers!
