Southwood Cross Country competed in the West Noble Invite early Saturday morning, In a highly competitive field of runners, the Lady Knights, finished 12th out of 27 teams. Once again, Paige Nelson led the way for the Knights, finishing 39th in 21:51.2. Hailey Collins was the 2nd Knight to cross the finish, placing in 59th in 22:16.7. Andrea Widemon and Elin Tyson followed the leaders, finishing 67th and 78th with times of 22:40.1 and 23:01.1. Olivia Ranck (29:38.8) once again rounded out the scoring for Southwood in 146th. Grace Ranck also competed for the Knights. On the boys' side, Jericho Corn (134th) performed a breakout race on a slow, hilly course, setting a new PR of 21:48.9.
