Triton Jr-Sr High School = 26 Manchester = 50 Southwood = 56 Central Noble = Inc The Southwood girls cross country team turned in another strong performance, but finishing 3rd overall in the absence of lead runner, Paige Nelson. The Lady Knights continue to show steady improvement, with nearly the entire squad lowering their times again this meet. Leading the way was Hailey Collins, racing to a 4th-place finish in 22:27.7. Andrea Widemon followed close behind in 6th at 23:23.5, while Elin Tyson delivered another solid effort, placing 13th in 24:09.2. Olivia Ranck continued her progress, clocking 28:25.3 for 25th place and Grace Ranck (28th) rounded out the team with a time of 34:47.6, improving her finish once again. On the boys’ side, the Knights packed tightly together, with just over a minute separating the three runners. Andrew Wright led the way with a 12th-place finish in 22:14, followed closely by Jericho Corn in 13th at 22:17. Blake Henderson wasn’t far behind, securing 14th in 23:26. 💪 Both squads continue to show consistency, progress, and teamwork as the season moves forward. The Knights will return to competition on Saturday, September 6th at the Marion Invitational hosted by IWU.
