The Lady Knights competed well, but were unable to hold onto their undefeated season against a strong Manchester team. Highlights for the Knights included: Alexis Lopez picked up a Win in the High Jump by clearing 4' 8". Also competing in the High Jump for the first time was Danika Holbrook who was able to clear 4' 4". Alexis Lopez (13' 6) and Adi Deaton (13' 5) picked up points for the Knight by finished 2nd and 3rd. Also competing for the Knights in the Long Jump was Hannah Garrison (12' 9), Madi Wilburn (PR - 12' 7), and Ella Chambers (12' 2). Danika Holbrook Won the Shot Put with a put of 26' 1.75" in her first competition of the season. Ryleigh Pulley (23' 4) and Lily Robinson (21' 0) also threw for the Knights. Ryleigh Pulley threw 73' 5" setting a new PR in the Discus, while Lily Robinson also set a new with a throw of 52' 7. Danika Holbrook competed in discus for the first time with a throw of 54' 8". Adi Deaton placed 3rd in the 100m Dash with a time of 13.5, followed by Danika Holbrook in a time of 14.6. Southwood defeated Manchester in the 4x800m Relay. The team of Jaiya Corn, Hailey Collins, Paige Nelson, and Lola Winer earned the win with a new team PR of 10:53.3. The 4x400m Relay squad of Presley Kroft, Hailey Collins, Alexis Lopez, and Lola Winer picked up the Win by setting a new PR of 4:34.5. Despite a season best time of 54.2, the 4x100m relay team of Andrea Widemon, Adi Deaton, Lola Winer, and Presley Kroft fell to a 2nd place finish. In the 100m Hurdles, both Andrea Widemon (19.4) and Kaley Denney (20.9) set new personal best times, placing 2nd and 3rd for the Knights. In the 300m Hurdles, Alexis Lopez picked up the win with a new PR of 52.2, while Kaley Denney also scored points for the Lady Knights with a 3rd place finish in 56.8. Hannah Garrison also competed in hurdles with a time of 1:12.9, a personal best. Paige Nelson (6:09) and Hailey Collins (6:25.8) finished 2nd and 3rd for the Knights in the 1600m Run. Jaiya Corn performed a season best effort in the 800m run with a time of 2:43.7 and placing 3rd. Hannah Garrison (3:13.5) also competed for the Knights. Andrea Widemon (3rd place, 28.5), Presley Kroft (28.6), Ella Chambers (29.9), and Madi Wilburn (30.9) competed in the 200m Dash. Ella Chambers took the Win in the 400m Dash with a time of 68.2. Madi Wilburn also ran for the Knights in a time of 1:12. The Ladies Knights have 4 Wins and 1 Loss on the season.
