The Knights fell to Manchester boys in a dual meet Thursday night. Southwood highlights from the event included: James Unger (4:59) and Luke Andrews (5:06.6) finishing 2nd and 3rd in the 1600m Run. Blake Enyeart (58.9), Blake Henderson (63.2), and Dylan Cochran (68.1) in the 400m sprint. Stratten Whiteman (PR of 2:39.5) in the 800m run. Cooper Drake with a win in the 200m Dash with a time of 23.6, followed by Blake Henderson in 25.9. Jericho Corn finished 4th in the 3200m Run in a time of 12:58.9. Blake Henderson (12.4), Weston Greiner (12.6), and Aiden Hawkins (12.75) competed in the 100m Dash. 4x800m Relay team of James Unger, Luke Andrews, Owen Enyeart, and Cooper Drake finished 2nd in 8:59.9. 4x400m Relay team of Cooper Drake, Weston Greiner, Blake Enyeart, and Owen Enyeart finished 2nd in 3:50.9. 4x100m Relay team of Blake Henderson, Weston Greiner, Bo Liddick, and Dylan Cochran finished 2nd setting a new PR of 49.5. Bo Liddick and Gabe Mealy tied for 3rd Place in the men's High Jump, but clearing 5' 4. Poncho Lopez placed 2nd in Long Jump with a jump of 18' 8.5" (PR). Dylan Cochran also competed for the Knights jumping 14' 2. Gabe Mealy picked up the Win for the Knights in the Shot Put with a put of 40' 8.5". Jayden Hartline placed 3rd with a put of 32' 3.25". Other competitors in the Shot Put were Caleb Colyers (28' 10), Stratten Whiteman (24' 9), Brystol Moss (24" 0.5"), Victor Mondragon (23' 9.5"), and Logan Shellhamer (18' 2"). Gabe Mealy placed 3rd in the Discus with a throw of 105' 9". Other Knight competitors were Jayden Hartline (87' 6), Caleb Colyers (New PR - 85' 4), Stratten Whiteman (75' 11), Brystol Moss (New PR - 72' 1), Victor Mondragon (55' 3), and Logan Shellhamer (46' 2).
