James Unger, Luke Andrews, Paige Nelson, and Hailey Collins represented the Southwood Knights at the Cross Country Regional Championship held at Huntington University this morning. The regional meet consisted of 25 full teams in addition to the top 75 individual competitors across 5 sectional championships (Delta, New Haven, Marion, Manchester, and West Noble). In a highly competitive field of 243 runners, James Unger placed 75th in a time of 17:39.4. Senior, Luke Andrews, closed out his high school cross country career with his second fastest time of the season, 19:06.4, finishing in 190th place. In the girls' race, Paige Nelson finished 130th in a time of 22:00.7. On Nelson's heels was junior Hailey Collins placing 136th in a time of 22:05.7.
