Knights compete in TRC Championship

Varsity vs Maconaquah Loss Varsity vs Lewis Cass Jr-Sr High School (34.5 - 59) Loss Varsity vs Whitko High School Win Varsity vs Manchester (34.5 - 112) Loss Varsity vs North Miami (34.5 - 18) Win Varsity vs Peru Loss Varsity vs Northfield (34.5 - 38) Loss Varsity vs Rochester (34.5 - 59) Loss Varsity vs Wabash Loss Southwood Knights Track & Field competed in TRC Championship Friday night at Wabash High School. Highlights from the event: 4x800m Relay Team set a new PR of 8:47.92, placing 5th overall (Cooper Drake, Owen Enyeart, Landon Mitchell, James Unger) In the 1600m Run Luke Andrews set a new Personal Record of 4:55.60, good enough to place 8th in the TRC. Also competing for the Knights in this event and setting a new PR was James Unger with a time of 5:07.94. Casey Boardman placed 2nd in the 400m Dash with a time of 52.73. In the 800m Run, Owen Enyeart (4th place) set a new PR of 2:06.48 and Landon Mitchell also ran a new PR of 2:15.93. In the 3200m Race, Luke Andrews ran a new PR of 10:50.29, placing 7th in the field. James Unger also doubled up on PR's for the night with a new best of 11:11.48. The 4x400m Relay team of Boardman, Drake, Enyeart, and Maddox Marshall placed 5th in the field setting a season best time of 3:39.02. Competing in the Shot Put was Randy Boone, who placed 7th overall, with a put of 40' 8" and Gabe Mealy who set a new personal best of 39" 9.5'. Mealy also competed in the high jump with an effort of 5' 6", good enough to score 6th place points for the Knights.
