After several weather cancellations, the Boys' Track Team was able to compete in only their second competition of the season as they faced off with Caston and Lewis Cass on April 9th. Highlights on the night: 4x800 Relay (Cooper Drake, Owen Enyeart, Landon Mitchell, James Unger) = 1st place in a season best time of 9:05 110 Hurdles = Josiah Chellis placed 4th with a season best of 18.51. Caden Guthrie placed 5th in 19.62. 100m Dash = Chellis placed 5th in a time of 12.19. 1600m Run = Luke Andrews was 3rd setting a new PR of 5:08. Landon Mitchell ran a season best of 5:24, placing 7th. James Unger was 5th in 5:12. Luke Herring had a season best of 6:13. 4x100m Relay (Chellis, Drake, Mealy, Wright) = 2nd in season best of 49.04. 400m Dash = Casey Boardman was the champion in a season best of 52.91. Wright was 6th in 63.92. 300 hurdles = Chellis placed 3rd in season best of 48.03. Guthrie placed 6th in 55.37. 800m sprint = Enyeart placed 2nd in 2:13.43. Mitchell was 4th setting a new PR of 2:20.64. 200m Dash = Casey Boardman was champion setting a season best of 23.9. Wright finished 8th in 27.10. 3200m Run = Luke Andrews placed 2nd in season best of 11:08. Unger finished 4th with a PR of 11:14. 4x400m Relay of Boardman, Drake, Enyeart, and Wright = 1st Place with a PR of 3:45.95. Shot Put = Randy Boone earned 1st place with a put of 37' 6. Mealy was 5th with a put of 32' 4.5". John White was 11th with a put of 28' 11". Jamin Taylor had a season best of 24' 0. Discus = Mealy placed 2nd throwing a PR of 86'11.5". White placed 4th. Jamin Taylor threw a PR of 58' 5. High Jump = Mealy place 2nd overall.
