Ava Stouffer continues to impress! The freshman standout finished 6th overall out of 133 runners with an incredible new PR of 20:16.1—more than a minute faster than her previous PR! Ava continues to prove what an outstanding competitor she is. The rest of the Lady Knights also had strong performances, with season-best performances from several runners: Paige Nelson – 56th, 23:49.8 (Season Best) Olivia Ranck – 119th, 29:52.6 (Season Best) Ellie Simpson – 122nd, 30:14.1 Grace Ranck – 130th, 32:25.7 (Season Best!) As a team, the Southwood girls finished 13th out of 22 teams represented at the Marion Invitational. In the boys' race, Southwood was able to compete as a team for the first time this season. Finishing 18th out of 22 teams represented, each athlete performed a season best effort.
