Southwood Varsity Knights Lead Slips In Loss To Fort Wayne Bishop Luers Varsity Knights 4-3 Saturday's game against Fort Wayne Bishop Luers Varsity Knights was a heartbreaker for Southwood Varsity Knights, as they lost the lead late in a 4-3 defeat at DeKalb High School. The game was tied at three in the top of the sixth when Ulrick singled, scoring one run. A single by Spoltman put Fort Wayne Bishop Luers Varsity Knights on the board in the top of the first. Fort Wayne Bishop Luers Varsity Knights added one run in the third after Petras singled down the left field line. Lambert singled to center field, which helped Southwood Varsity Knights tie the game at two in the bottom of the third.
