In game two of the Petoskey Invitational Tournament, The Spring Lake Lakers bounced back and defeated the Reed City Coyotes 8-2. Oliver Smies got the win on the mound pitching 3 innings allowing 3 hits, striking out 6 and walking 2. Jaden Core and Ryan Fine each pitched 2 innings of scoreless relief. Fine led the Laker offense with 3 hits and scoring 2 runs. Jace Sanderlin drove in two runs with a single and Ryan Grimm posted a long RBI double. Alex Strauss had a hit and an RBI, Mason Roll reached base 3 times and scored a run, Brady Hill reached base twice and scored a run, Mason Troyer got on base all 4 times and had an RBI single and Noah Sanders reached twice and scored a run.
