What a night for the girls! I was really proud of the way we came tonight and fought through different situations this game brought. Our defense played 2 solid halves, and I was impressed with the strength of our back line. Our high pressure caused many turnovers, and the way we quickly switched fields with the ball really gave us some great looks at their goal. Keep Addie Schmidt didn't get to finish the game due to a penalty, but definitely deserved every ounce of this shutout tonight as well. We had to work hard for this one! We were thankful for the way Kloe George (9), stepped in to help in goal as we played the majority of the second half down a player and without our goalie. Cam Morell had the lone goal in the game, assisted by McKenzie Pope. Way to go girls!
