The Scottsburg Warriors defeated Edgewood at home on Friday, October 24th 31-7 and will now host the North Harrison Cougars in the second round of the IHSAA Sectional. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at Warrior Field. The Warriors enter the matchup with a 8-2 record, riding a season of strong performances on both sides of the ball. Scottsburg’s balanced attack and tough defense have been key to their success, as they look to continue that momentum into the playoffs. North Harrison comes into the game at 4-6, looking to make a statement on the road. The Cougars have shown the ability to put points on the board, setting up what should be an exciting sectional showdown under the lights. The Warriors won a close battle 21-14 in the regular season matchup between the two schools on August 29th.
