The Scottsburg High School boys and girls cross country teams competed Saturday morning in the Lou Knoble Invitational at Madison Consolidated High School. The Warriorettes placed third in the team standings with 81 points. Sophomore Presley Buckel led Scottsburg, finishing 14th overall in 26:13.9. She was followed closely by junior Sofie Riley in 16th and senior Addison Eldridge in 18th. The Warriors finished fifth with 98 points, placing four runners among the top 18. Freshman Asher Horton paced Scottsburg with a 12th-place finish in 19:23.8.
