Warriors Battle Through Competitive Field at Jeffersonville Inferno Invitational JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. — Scottsburg Warrior volleyball competed in a strong field Saturday at the Jeffersonville Inferno Invitational, finishing 1-3 while pushing multiple matches to the limit. The Warriors opened the day against Silver Creek in a tightly contested three-set match. After dropping the first set 18-25, Scottsburg responded with a 25-18 win to even things up, but fell just short in the final set 13-15. Scottsburg bounced back in its second match against Anderson, turning in its most dominant performance of the day with a 25-14, 25-14 sweep. In the third match, the Warriors faced Evansville Reitz Memorial and battled through another three-set contest. After falling 21-25 in the opening set, Scottsburg rallied to take the second 25-22, but again came up just short in the final set 13-15. The day concluded against New Albany, where the Warriors fell in straight sets 17-25, 21-25. Scottsburg finished the invitational 1-3, with two matches going the distance and highlighting the team’s resilience and competitiveness throughout the day.
