Warriors Take Care of Business on the Road at Bedford North Lawrence

The Scottsburg Warriors picked up an impressive road victory Tuesday, February 10th, defeating Bedford North Lawrence 65-52 in a strong all-around performance away from home. Scottsburg set the tone early, jumping out to a 16-12 lead after one quarter and carrying a 31-22 advantage into halftime. Bedford North Lawrence made its best push in the third, outscoring the Warriors 16-12 to cut into the margin, but Scottsburg responded with its best quarter of the night in the fourth, pouring in 22 points to pull away for the 13-point win. The Warriors shot 43.8% from the field and knocked down 12 three-pointers, helping fuel an efficient offensive night. Scottsburg also forced turnovers and capitalized, scoring 17 points off miscues while holding Bedford North Lawrence to 0.93 points per possession. Jarin Luttrell led the way with 22 points, knocking down six three-pointers to headline Scottsburg’s balanced scoring attack. Garrett Boling added 14, Jaxon Owens finished with 13, and Braden Cox scored 6. Caiden Boswell chipped in 5, while Bennett Pearcy and Caleb Salas rounded out the scoring with 2 and 3 points respectively. For Bedford North Lawrence, Dax Short led the Stars with 20 points.
