Scottsburg, Ind. — November 20, 2025 The Scottsburg Warriorettes were unable to keep pace with a hot-shooting Floyd Central Lady Highlanders squad, falling 59–22 on Thursday night in girls basketball action. Floyd Central set the tone early, jumping out to a commanding first-quarter lead behind efficient shooting and strong defensive pressure. The Lady Highlanders scored 28 points in the opening period, while Scottsburg worked to find offensive rhythm against an aggressive defense. Despite the early deficit, the Warriorettes continued to compete and showed resilience throughout the night. Scottsburg added points in each quarter, including a solid effort in the fourth, but Floyd Central’s depth and balanced scoring proved difficult to overcome. Senior Arya Stillions led Scottsburg with 5 points, while Brooklyn Moon added 3 points and a team-high effort on both ends of the floor. Addison Eldridge contributed 3 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists, and Georgia McNeely chipped in 2 points off the bench. Defensively, the Warriorettes battled on the boards, with Eldridge, Moon, and Kylie Grogan helping limit second-chance opportunities. Floyd Central was led by Rinley Clark, who scored a game-high 20 points, along with strong performances from Elise Coleman and Maya Brogan, as the Lady Highlanders shot 44.7% from the field for the game.
