New Albany Tops Warriorettes, 63–27

Thursday night at New Albany The Warriorettes struggled to find offensive rhythm Thursday night on the road, falling 63–27 to New Albany. New Albany jumped out early and maintained control throughout, using pressure defense and efficient shooting to build separation in each half. The Warriorettes were held to single-digit scoring in three of the four quarters and shot 23 percent from the field on the night. Despite the challenges offensively, the Warriorettes continued to compete defensively, recording 19 deflections and forcing multiple turnovers. KK Grogan led the Warriorettes in scoring, reaching double figures, while Sofie Riley and Georgia McNeely added perimeter scoring. The team converted seven of eight free throws.
