Friday night was not only the opening night for our Salem Lions football team but it also it was the revealing of the new Video Board, or Jumbo Tron as people refer to it. Mr. Wade-Swift and his media class has spent many hours programming and setting up different functions on the board. Not only were in action video shown on the board but multiple graphics were used when a first down was reached and touchdowns were scored. Some of the highlights were the interviews that were shown on the board, namely the half-time and post game interviews. Salem Junior, Valerie Bravo, did a tremendous job of interviewing Coach Pennington. The new board added a level of excitement to the game with many fans stating it was like being at a college game! Thanks to Mr. Wade-Swift and his class for all of their work making this an awesome experience for the fans.
