Lions Baseball Comes Up Short Vs NH

The Salem Lions baseball team stayed in it until the end, but North Harrison pulled away late in a 3-1 victory on Thursday. The game was tied at one in the bottom of the fifth when C Hoehn singled, scoring two runs. Both teams were strong on the mound. North Harrison pitchers struck out three, while Salem sat down six. The Lions were the first to get on the board in the second when Josh Reardon singled, scoring one run. North Harrison made the score 3-1 in the bottom of the fifth after an error scored one run, and Hoehn singled, scoring two runs. Reardon, DJ Ward, Grayson Perry, Rena Alvarez, and Adler Cox each collected one hit for Salem. The next game for Salem will be this Monday when they travel to Austin for an MSC battle.
