We are proud to announce Justin VanHorn as the new Head Boys Soccer Coach at Perry Meridian High School. Coach VanHorn joins the Falcon Family following the resignation of Coach Machy Magdalinos, who led the program for nearly a decade. Under Coach Machy’s leadership, Perry Meridian Soccer established itself as a perennial state-ranked team and a consistent contender for Marion County, Mid-State Conference, and Sectional championships. His legacy is one of passion, family, and competitive excellence, and we are incredibly grateful for the foundation he built. Coach VanHorn brings a wealth of experience and proven success to our program. He comes to us from Whiteland Community High School, where he served as the Head Boys Soccer Coach for 11 years. Competing in the same Mid-State Conference as Perry Meridian, Coach VanHorn is already familiar with the standard and tradition of Falcon Soccer. At Whiteland, he captured two conference titles and became the winningest coach in program history. More than his accolades, Coach VanHorn is known for his relentless drive and passion for developing student-athletes both on and off the field. His coaching philosophy centers around building strong relationships, fostering a competitive and professional environment, and holding student-athletes to high standards of character and commitment. This fall, Coach VanHorn will also join the PMHS staff in the classroom, further strengthening his connection to our school community and enhancing the education-based experience we provide our student-athletes. Please join us in welcoming Coach Justin VanHorn, his wife Nikki and daughter, to Perry Meridian. We are excited for the future of Falcon Soccer under his leadership!
