--Congratulations to Coach Cooper and our Football team!   Friday was the FIRST conference road win for the Falcons in the Mid-State Conference and the first points scored at Franklin Community for a Cooper-led team.  The Falcons are learning to play defense without two senior leaders and the defense made huge plays in the fourth quarter to seal the win.  Both Freshman and JV teams won giving the Falcons a second straight sweep of the opponent.   --Boys Soccer remained undefeated in conference play with a home win over Franklin Community this past week.  --Girls Soccer had a great effort against Franklin Community falling just short 1-0 to the Grizzly Cubs before finding the scoring rhythm in the 9-0 win over Beech Grove at home.   --Cross Country traveled to Columbus North for the Weinheimer Invite in what would be one of the fastest days for our Falcons.  The Girls finished 11th (out of 21 teams) with 11 of the 13 running personal best times; the other two had season best times.  Sophomore Kairi Ghent ran a 19:30 to move into 4th place All Time in PMHS 5K history.  The Boys ran 14th our of 22 teams in the AA race.  The Falcons were led by ALec Dial, Cooper Miles, and Skylar Phillips with 15 of the 16 Falcon runners running personal best times.   --Volleyball followed up a tough conference road loss at Franklin Community with a two-set win over North Central (25-23; 25-17) and a come-back victory over Pendleton Heights (25-22; 25-14) before losing to New Castle to finish the week 2-2.   --Boys Tennis defeated Martinsville on the road with all five positions winning.  Dakota Perry got the win at 3 Singles to give the Falcons the only win in the rescheduled match at Pike with Freshman Collin Smothers going 3-sets before falling to the Red Devil.   --Girls Golf started the week with a new team low score of 196 against Roncalli.  The Falcons battled in the Conference round finishing 6th.   --Unified Football found the endzone more than Franklin Community in the road win on Tuesday but dropped the home game with Tech.
