The Quaker Volleyball team opened Mid-State conference play, sweeping Whiteland 3-0 in varsity volleyball action on Tuesday. The Quakers defeated the Warriors 25-2, 25-15, and 25-19. Freshman Evie Ellis was impresive serving with a stat line of 10 aces and 22 straight points won in set number one. Charlee Goninger had 35 assists on the evening! Audrey Utterback led the Quakers with 17 kills and Marley VanWanzeele completed her night with 11 kills. Savannah Brock was impressive defensively with 19 digs. JV defeated Whiteland 2-0, and the freshmen also defeated Whiteland 2-0.
