Plainfield High School senior Annabelle Hacker will compete in the IHSAA Girls Golf State Finals this Friday and Saturday at Battleground Golf Club. Hacker earned her spot by shooting an 80 at Harrison Hills in last week’s regional competition, advancing as an individual. The state finals provide another opportunity for Annabelle to add to an outstanding golf career at Plainfield. A four-time regional qualifier and four-time Mid-State All-Conference honoree, she also captured the 2025 Mid-State Conference championship. Earlier this season, Annabelle shot 3-under par in a nine-hole match—the second-lowest nine-hole score in program history. Annabelle’s contributions extend beyond the golf course. For the past three years, she has volunteered with the Optimist Miracle Movers, assisting athletes with special needs during practices and competitions. Her commitment to helping others reflects the dedication she brings to representing Plainfield. Next fall, Annabelle will continue her education and golf career at Indiana Wesleyan University. This weekend, she will proudly represent the Quakers on the state’s biggest stage. Annabelle tees off Friday at 8:40 a.m. on hole No. 10 at Battleground Golf Club.
