Plainfield High School

Plainfield High School has named Taylor Ponto as its new Dance Coach. Taylor is a recent graduate of Illinois State University, where she was a four-year member of the dance team. Coach Ponto danced on the Red Bird competitive team for four years and became national runner-up in both D1 Jazz and Team Routine categories. Outside of dance, she is an avid reader and animal lover, having grown up on a horse and goat ranch. Taylor has been a choreographer for the past three years at her hometown studio, Studio C. Taylor is pursuing a career in publishing. “Plainfield High School is excited to have Taylor Ponto as our dance coach. Taylor’s energy, knowledge, and dance experience will be a blessing for our dance program.
