The Plainfield girls' basketball team continued its strong start to the season, picking up two convincing wins this past week. The Quakers defeated Avon 63–33 and followed it up with a dominant 77–45 victory over Whiteland. With the win against Whiteland, Plainfield improves to 3–0 in Mid-State Conference play and 8–2 overall. Win vs. Avon: Plainfield showcased a balanced offensive attack in the victory. Abrielle Dugan led the way with 13 points, while four additional Quakers scored 8 or more: (Hannah Menser – 12, Moriah Armstrong – 10, Berkeley Williams – 8, and Emma Righter – 8). Win vs. Whiteland: On Friday night, the Quakers overcame a slow start before pulling away from Whiteland behind standout performances from Hannah Menser, who scored 20 points, and Berkeley Williams, who added 18.
