The Portland Boys Varsity Soccer team continued play this week opening to Waverly Monday evening. The Raiders struck first early in the half with a goal from Jule Brzezinski giving them a 1-0 lead. Playing with only one sub they continued to battle and get offensive momentum. However, Waverly was able to secure 3 quick goals to giving them a 3-1 led at halftime. The Raiders played great defense in the second half not allowing another goal to be scored. They will continue play Wednesday home at 5:30pm against CAAC White rival Lansing Sexton.
