Portland High School

The Portland Raiders tennis team battled St. Johns in a competitive matchup, with the Raiders falling 6-2. Portland picked up two wins in doubles play. Gage Larson and Jacob Heinicke earned a 6-4, 6-4 victory at No. 2 doubles, while Dominic Fabiano and Grayson Graham battled back for a 6-1, 4-6, 10-6 win at No. 4 doubles. The Raiders also had several competitive matches, including Joshua Seavey, who pushed his No. 2 singles match to a third-set tiebreaker before falling 6-0, 6-7 (3), 15-13. Portland will look to build on the strong doubles performances and continue improving as the season progresses.
