The girls fought hard today at West Branch Country Club, D3 Regional 16. It was sunny and beautiful, but chilly and the wind continued to pick up as the round progressed. The pressure at regionals is a little heavier than most tournaments and it was felt today. We ended the day with a score 425 in 7th place. Sami Ross - 87 **3rd place🥉 (State Qualified) Ella Parker - 109 ** PR with 2 pars💙💛 Emma Parker - 112 with 1 par💛 Anna Gobel - 117 with 1 par 💙 Leighton Sobak - 121 with 1 par💛 Sami’s 87 put her in a 3 way tie for first place. With a big crowd following, she was knocked out on the first playoff hole to take 3rd place overall. This qualifies her for the State Finals next weekend at Ferris State’s Katke, October 16th and 17th. As the teams season came to a close today, I am so grateful I had the privilege of watching these girls grow closer together, make memories, learn vital life lessons, overcome moments of defeat, and really start to recognize their potential. They have all gained so much experience this season and I am so excited to watch them continue to grow from it in the off season and into next year. Thank you all for cheering these girls on all season- we appreciate your support!! Go Lady Trojans Golf!!! ⛳️ 💙💛⛳️
