Samantha Ross was invited to play in the Greater Genesee Invite as an individual, along with a few other local girls from Shiawassee County. It was hosted by Goodrich at Flint Elks Golf Club. After a rough start with a double on 16, Sam played the front 9 just one over par shooting a 37. She fought hard to finish out the back side but ultimately fell one shot short of the overall victory with a score of 37-42, 79. There was a tie for 1st place at 78 from Holly’s Savanah P. and Grand Blanc’s Caroline B. — Savanah P. won in a 3 hole playoff. Samantha tied with Goodrich’s Brooklyn W. for 3rd place.
