The junior varsity swept Lewis Cass in two sets last night. Stats and scores are listed below. 25-13 25-20 Aleese Warnock, Elayna Cates, and Brylie Speicher each had 2 aces apiece. Sierra Snyder led the team in kills with 3 kills and no errors. Ava David also had 3 kills. June Burtner had 2 solo blocks. Kora Weller led the team with 11 digs. Ava David had 8 digs. Kora Weller ended with 10 assists. The girls play again tonight (October 8th) at home for their JV Grant 4 tournament. The varsity swept future sectional opponent Lewis Cass in three sets last night. Brianna Dailey contributed 10 kills and only 1 error, and Londyn Frank contributed 8 kills. Lilly Edwards had 16 digs, and Londyn Frank in second with 9 digs. Brianna Dailey and Morgan Cates each had a solo block. Londyn Frank ended with 21 assists, and Addison Carey had 8 assists. The varsity will play again on Thursday at Blackford and again Saturday at home for Grant 4.
