OHJHXC Golden Eagles Set New PRs at 20 Team Maconaquah Invite - Blair Wins Setting New School, Meet, and Course Record - Vetor Earns Top 25 Award

The OHJHXC Golden Eagles had their best showing of the season Saturday at the 20 Team Maconaquah Invite finishing 6th and setting multiple personal bests in the process. 8th Grader Brantley Blair led the way winning the event in a time of 9:12 which broke his own School, Course, and Meet record. Blair won the event last year in 20:07. Blair has set a meet and course record at all three of his events so far this fall. Classmate Keaton Vetor set a new personal best as well grabbing a Top 25 Honor in 17th. Just missing out on the Top 25 Honors was 7th Grader Ellison Beights who was 26th overall. 8th Grader Colson Woodard was a strong 44th while 6th Grader Asher Bowlin was the 5th and final scorer in 62nd. 8th Grader Bryson Losure in 64th and 7th Grader Griffin Boswell in 72nd had strong showings as well to round out the Varsity Top 7. The Golden Eagles host a triangular meet Thursday September 18th and compete in the South Adams Invitational Saturday September 20th.
