The young OHJHXC Lady Eagles keep gaining more experience and getting better and better. Saturday competing in the 20 Team Maconaquah Invite the girls had their best showing of the season recording a large number of personal bests with a very strong 3rd place finish. In all, 4 athletes earned Top 25 awards with 8th Grader Lucy Devers leading the way earning a Top 10 Podium Medal in 8th in a time of 12:24. Classmate Verity Bishop was 17th just 12 seconds back while 6th Graders Lakyn Blair and Brooklyn Bollhoeffer were close behind in 21st and 22nd respectively. 7th Grader Brooklyn Disney the 5th and final scoring athlete in 38th while 6th Graders Kelly Grant and Carly Barker rounded out the varsity Top 7 in 54th and 71st. The Lady Eagles host a triangular meet Thursday September 18th and compete in the South Adams Invitational next Saturday September 20th.
