The OHTF Lady Eagles wrapped up the 2025 regular season Monday at Northfield competing in a triangular with the host Norseman and Lakeland Christian. Resting the majority of the varsity athletes that competed in Friday's Central Indiana Conference Meet the Lady Eagles lost by 1 point to Lakeland Christian but defeated Northfield. Lady Eagle Junior Addison Carey had a big night as she led the way with three 1st place finishes. She individually won the 800 Meter Run while also being part of both the winning 4x800 Meter Relay and 4x400 Meter Relay. Joining her on the 4x8 were classmates Kaitlyn Scalf and Sophia Rowland along with Sophomore Lilly Snyder. Carey was joined on the 4x4 by Sophomore Jaden Denham along with Freshmen Savannah Hunt and Emi Babinski. Scalf was a multiple event winner on the night as well taking 1st in the 3200 Meter Run. The Lady Eagles also had seven runner up finishes on the night. Senior Abby Sneed took 2nd in the Pole Vault, Senior Gwen Thompson 2nd in the Disc, Freshman Alexei Butche 2nd in both the 100 Meter Hurdles and 300 Meter Hurdles, Babinski in the 400 Meter Run, Snyder in the 3200 behind Scalf, and Rowland in the 800 behind Carey. The Lady Eagles are now preparing for the IHSAA Tourney Series which starts next Tuesday May 20th in the Marion Sectional.
