The Oak Hill Lady Eagles won another conference game against the Elwood Panthers tonight 14-4. The bats were hot for the Eagles in the first inning. Ryleigh Myers started off with a single and was moved by a sac bunt by Lex Myers. Jolee Hawkins hit a shot into left center to score R. Myers and advance to second base. Karsyn Wiley followed with a hard hit into center for a single and an RBI. Madison Archer advanced to first on a hard hit to short stop who tried to get the force out at second, but Riley Archer the pinch runner for K. Wiley, beat the throw there. Pathie Speicher roped the ball into left center to score 2 runs. Madi Evans hit her ball to the right field fence for a long single to score Speicher. The Eagles scored one run the 2nd inning after R. Myers led off with triple due to some throwing errors by Elwood. Lex Myers was able to score her on a sacrifice fly into left. Oak Hill broke it open in the bottom of the 3rd after the Panthers scored 4 runs in the top of the 3rd. Speicher led off with a walk and was scored on a single by Liz Godfrey. L. Myers hit a line drive over 3rd base and advanced to 2nd. J. Hawkins hit the ball hard into the infield and 2 runs scored off of a bad throw to the 1st baseman. K. Wiley hit the ball hard up the middle for a single. M. Archer then hit a rope into center for a double to score another run. She was followed up by a double by Becca Cardona to score another run. Pathie Speicher came up for the second time in the inning and hit the ball hard between short and third for a 2 RBI double. The Eagles scored one more run in the 4th to make the score 14-4. R. Myers went 3-for-4 scoring 3 runs. J. Hawkins went 3-for-4 with 3 RBIs and 2 runs scored. K. Wiley went 2-for-3 with an RBI. M. Archer had 2 RBIS, 2 runs scored and 2 hits. P. Speicher had 4 RBIs, 2 hits and 2 runs scored. Karsyn got the win for the Lady Eagles in the circle. She had 2 strikeouts and allowed 4 runs. The Eagles return to play Thursday at home against Blackford.
