The OHTF Lady Eagles remained unbeaten on the outdoor season with wins over host Eastbrook and visiting Elwood Tuesday. The Lady Eagles won 11 of the 16 events and collected a 2nd place finish in 10 of 16 events as well including a 1-2 event sweep in half the events. In doing so the Lady Eagles totaled 97 points to outdistance a very talented Eastbrook team who finished with 58 points. Elwood was 3rd with 8. The Lady Eagles were led on the night by Senior Ellie Campbell who won all 3 of her events, tied a near 50 year old school record, and broke into the 600s for career points. Campbell swept the jumping events winning both the High Jump and Long Jump but then running the 100 Meter Dash for the 1st time this season clocked a 12.7 tieing the program record set in 1979 by Schwarze. With her 3 wins on the night Campbell now has scored over 600 points for her career, making her 1 of only 4 Lady Eagle athletes to ever accomplish that. She passed Margo Hornocker (601.25) into 3rd all time trailing only Krista Hobbs (620) and program record holder Janae Moffitt. Campbell is less than 20 points behind Moffitt's program best 630.75 career points. Campbell led a 1-2 sweep in all 3 of her events.
