Basketball (Boys 7) 7th Grade Boys Win Grant 4

The Eagles opened up Grant 4 play this morning defeating RJ Basket 60-38. The team led 23-10 at half after executing well on defense before pulling away in the 4th quarter to ice the game. Hunter Chism led the team in scoring with 13 points. Naseer Ajamu scored 12 and Grayston Bricker had 10 off the bench. Rounding out the scoring was Weston Roth 9; Caleb Clark 7; Isaiah Miller 6 and Zach Means with 3. The team had a rematch from an earlier season game versus Madison Grant for the championship. The team came out hot early leading 10-0 before Madison Grant recovered with Oak Hill leading at the quarter 15-12. The second and third quarters were decisive as the Eagles outscored Madison Grant 35-6 to pull away. It was a complete team effort on both ends of the court. Weston Roth and Hunter Chism each scored 12 points; Caleb Clark and Naseer Ajamu had 8; Isaiah Miller 7; Grayston Bricker 6 and Zach Means with 5. The Eagles are now 16-3 on the year and open the conference tournament Monday at home versus Madison Grant at 6:00pm.
