The Golden Eagles competed their hearts out again, a night after grinding out a victory to defeat the Braves 70-68! The Eagles showed they can win a low scoring grind or a run and gun game like tonight. We had six different guys get in to the scoring column and everyone one was needed. Owen Middlesworth had a career scoring night hitting big shot after big shot from behind the arch finishing with 4 three pointers and 16 points. He also had 2 assists and 3 steals to help the Eagles. RJ Shugart led in the scoring column finishing with 21 points, adding 3 rebounds and a pair of assists. Jace Tonagel had an all around effective game with 17 points, 6 assists and 6 rebounds. Beckham Lamb was huge off the bench with 10 big points a rebound and an assist. Landon Watts was also a big contributor off the bench scoring 4 points pulling down 4 rebounds with 4 assists. Landon Cruzan rounded out the scoring with 2 points and 2 rebounds. It was a great team win, getting huge contributions from all who stepped on the floor! The Eagles get a well earned rest, and will Host conference foe Frankton Friday night with a JV tip off at 6pm.
