Boys Varsity Soccer win with an explosive home opener

The Varsity Boys Soccer team had a huge win 9-0 in their home opener against the Wabash Apaches. The Eagles went on a scoring frenzy scoring 6 of the 9 goals in the first half of the game. Luke Elzinga started off the scoring within the first couple minutes of the game assisted by Noah Thompson. The second goal was scored by Noah Thompson assisted by Luke Elzinga. The third goal was scored by Cameron Aguilar assisted by Caden Myers. The fourth goal was scored by Caden Myers assisted by Landon Watts. Cameron Aguilar then scored the fifth goal assisted by Jose Morales. The sixth and final goal of the first half was scored by Emmett Dorothy off a corner kick assisted by Luke Elzinga. The Eagles then kept the intensity and closed out the game with 3 final goals in the second half to complete the 9-0 victory. Cameron Aguilar started off the second half by scoring this third goal of the night for a hat trick assisted by Noah Thompson. The eighth goal of the game was scored by Noah Thompson unassisted. The final goal of the game was scored by Manny Mora for his first varsity goal assisted by Ethan Dorothy. The Eagles play away this Thursday at Eastern at 5:30 pm.
