The Boys Varsity Soccer team played a hard fought game in the Sectional Finals last night ultimately falling short losing 3-2 to the Braves. The Eagles went down in the first half and had to continue to fight and work to get time on on the ball. Maddux Kenyon was able to find the back of the net late in the first half with a header goal assisted by a throw in from Senior Garret Summers. The Eagles came out in the second half with a purpose and battled. They were able to have more possession on the ball. Garret Summers scored the Eagles second goal of the game unassisted. Kaymen Johnson had 4 saves in goal. Every player on the field had a great effort in the game! - although it was not the outcome we wanted the boys played hard. The Golden Eagles had a great season with a winning record of 12-5-2 and becoming first time ever CIC Champions!! Great season boys!
