The JHXC Lady Eagles & Golden Eagles hosted Northfield and Southwood Thursday for a tri-meet. Both teams came away with wins with the girls winning with a low nearly perfect 18 points while the boys won with 24. Northfield was 2nd to the girls with 41 points while the Norseman were also 2nd to the boys with 37 points. Lady Eagle Lakyn Blair won the girls race in 12:51. She led a 1-2-3 finish with Brooklyn Disney and Brooklyn Bollhoefer coming in 2nd and 3rd respectively. Aun'Draya Guy was 5th, Paisley Stewart was 7th. Additional Top 10 finishes for the Lady Eagles were Jane Devers in 9th and Audie Koontz in 10th. Golden Eagle Ellison Beights led the way for the boys with a strong 3rd followed by Wesley Hagan, Zaden Adkins, and Caleb Morgan coming in 5-6-7 to help grab the team win. Additional Top 10 finishes for the Golden Eagles were Griffin Boswell in 9th and Luke Clark in 10th. Both teams compete in the Grant 4 Championship at Mississinewa on Saturday September 19th.
