Oak Hill Varsity Golden Eagles erase an early 7 run deficit to defeat Yorktown in 9 innings 10-9 on Teacher Appreciation Night out at The Hill. Gage Pearce started on the mound going 2.1 innings giving up 7 runs on 7 hits, striking out 3 and walking 4. Austin Neese was first in relief pitching and excellent 3.2 innings allowing 0 runs and only 2 hits. Tae'Shawn Inman was next out of the bullpen going 2 innings giving up 2 runs (0 earned), on 1 hit, 1 BB and 1 K. Cam Aguilar pitched the final inning allowing 0 hits and striking out 2. Kyler Thompson went 1 for 3 on the day driving in 3 RBIs and 1 BB. Ayden Pearce pinch hit in the 9th inning driving a ball to the right center gap for a double to start action. Gage Stickann ran for Pearce stealing 3rd and then scoring on an overthrow to end the game in the bottom of the 9th.
