Boys Varsity Swimming and Diving win big over Pendleton Heights

By Tyler McQuiston | Jan 6, 2026 8:46 PM

The boys swim and dive team started the second half of the season with a strong showing over Pendleton Heights. The guys posted 24 season best times and re-broke the school record in the 200 Medley Relay. Their new record is now 1:37.45. I was very happy with the performances tonight. Coming off Christmas break can be difficult to swim fast, but these boys worked hard over break and their hard work is showing already. Max McQuiston had the swim of the night, lowering his 500 time by over 7 seconds. Braylon Carey also had a great night, setting new personal best times in the 50 and 100 free. The boys team took a total of 9 first place swims to set the tone for the win. First place swims include: 200 Medley Relay (School Record) (Cael McCann, Evan Bledsoe, Cooper McQuiston, Braylon Carey) Evan Bledsoe (200 free and 100 breast) Cooper McQuiston (200 IM and 100 free) Cael McCann (100 fly and 100 back) 200 Free Relay (Cael McCann, Braylon Carey, Evan Bledsoe, Cooper McQuiston) 400 Free Relay (Eli Gardner, Konnor Bullick, Max McQuiston, Charles Thompson) Oak Hill Boys Varsity vs Pendleton Heights High School (116 - 66) Win
