8th Grade Boys get big win over Madison-Grant

The Oak Hill boys 8th grade team got off to a good start Thursday against county foe Madison-Grant and got off to a 17-7 first quarter lead. The Eagles were able to maintain that advantage and build on it culminating in a 57-31 victory over a good Argyll team. Leading the scoring for the Eagles was Naseer Ajamu with 18 points. Isaiah Miller followed with 14, Caleb Clark had 9 points, and Weston Roth had 8 points. Other Eagle scorers included Zane Pierre and Hunter Chism with 3 each and Zach Means added 2. The 8th grade also played a "5th B team quarter" and the Eagles tied Madison-Grant 11-11. B team scorers were Blake Robinson with 6 and Titus Johnson with 5. The Eagles will get a Christmas break from the hardwood and are back in action on Tuesday January 6th as they travel to Northfield.
