8th Grade Boys Basketball improves to 8-1 on the season

The Oak Hill 8th grade hosted the Peru Tigers Wednesday. The Eagles got off to a little bit of a slow start, but they were able to recover and close out the first quarter with a 15-8 lead. They didn't look back from there and ended up winning the game 51-18. Leading scorer for Oak Hill was Isaiah Miller, who finished with 15. Close behind was Naseer Ajamu with 12. Grayston Bricker added 9 points, Caleb Clark 6 and Zach Means 5. Rounding out the scoring for the Eagles were Weston Roth and Zane Pierre with 2 each. The B team played a quarter, and Oak Hill won 9-4. The Eagles spread out the scoring as Remington Middlesworth had 3 points, and Blake Robinson, Evan Smiley, and Cole Howell all added 2 points apiece. The 8th Grade will be back in action tomorrow night at home against Madison-Grant.
