The Oak Hill Eagles showed heart, grit, and resilience in a thrilling comeback win over the Maconaquah Braves. After a tough start that left them trailing early, the Eagles fought their way back into the game. At halftime, Oak Hill found themselves down 21–28, but the second half told a very different story. The Eagles locked in defensively, allowing the Braves to score only 11 total points after the break. Their defensive intensity, paired with smart adjustments, shifted the momentum entirely. Oak Hill also dominated key effort areas, collecting 8 offensive rebounds compared to the Braves’ 2, and recording 12 deflections to Maconaquah’s 4. Fueled by a 29-point second half, the Eagles surged ahead and secured a hard-fought 50–39 victory.
