The Oak Grove Girls Golf team battled wet course conditions and two opponents in a tri-match against Clinton and Center at Adams Pointe Golf Club. The Panthers earned a split on the day, defeating Center while falling to Clinton. Oak Grove finished with a team score of 230, while Clinton posted a 203. Center did not qualify for a team score with only two qualifying scores. After rain earlier in the week left the course wet and sloppy, the young Panther squad faced some challenging conditions. While it wasn't Oak Grove's best round of the season, the team showed determination and a positive attitude throughout the match. Senior Ashley Miller led the Panthers with a round of 55, followed by Aubrey Long with a 58 and senior Brinlee Tripp with a 61. Jaela Lutgen shot a 55 through seven holes, Sophie Maschmeyer recorded a 56 through seven holes, and Elizabeth Purvis finished with a 56 through eight holes. With the split, Oak Grove moves to 3-2 overall and 1-2 in conference play as the Panthers continue building experience and consistency throughout the season.
