PANTHERS ROLL PAST CARROLLTON, MOVE TO 4-1: The Nouvel Catholic Central varsity football team topped conference rival Carrollton 64-6 on the road Friday. The Panthers came out of the gate strong, rolling up an insurmountable 51-0 lead at halftime and never looked back, improving their season record to 4-1. They entered the game ranked seventh in the state in Division 8 according to the Associated Press writers’ poll. Carrollton’s record drops to 0-5. Full game statistics were not available at the time of this post, but will be added here. Next week, the Panthers board the bus to Hemlock, where they will take on another conference foe, Hemlock (1-3). Let’s Go Panthers!
