NOUVEL TOPS HEMLOCK IN CONFERENCE MATCH: Nouvel Catholic Central Panthers boys varsity team defeated Hemlock 52-36 at home on Senior Night Friday. The Panthers carried a 22-17 lead into halftime and broke the game open with an 18-6 surge in the third quarter of the TVC Blue matchup. RJ Kelley poured in a game-high 24 points, while Courtney Burch (pictured) chipped in seven as the Panther defense forced 26 turnovers. Nouvel stands at 13-7 on season and 7-2in the Tri-Valley Conference-Blue. The team closes our the regular season next Friday on the road at Ithaca (5-14).
