The Northwest Mounties ended their season with a grueling contest against the Indians of Tecumseh. The Mounties started strong with an early long range effort finding the bottom corner from Chase Wyers, assisted by senior Evan Conant. Northwest held their own in a back and forth game until a late goal from Tecumseh tied the game with under 5 minutes to play. With the game tied 1-1, Northwest went into overtime with 10 men following a second yellow card at the end of regulation. After, a strong defensive showing in overtime, the game went to penalties with the Mounties falling 5-4. A disappointing end to a fantastic season for Northwest.
